LIVING IN THE PALACE
Encouragement!
It’s like a cool stream in the desert. It’s something no one can have too much of. Have you ever had a day in which your encouragers had encouraged you so much that you had to stop people by saying—if one more person encourages me I’ll die of encouragement overdose!
No!
In Living in the Palace, Shirandi Shamamba reminds us that the palace is where we belong.
This book is about human experience. Having it all. Losing it all. Regaining it all.
Living in the Palace will not only inform you, but bring biblical encouragement and strength to continue your journey in faithful obedience.
Everyone who has played a game of checkers knows the joys of stacking two pieces and being kinged. Immediately the rules of the game shift in your favor.
You’ve been kinged! You’re on your way to the palace.

MY VISION: IS HELPING OTHERS TO DISCOVER THEMSELVES
From the Heart of the Author
I am a product of a melting pot of cultures…born African, trained European and now domiciled in America. It’s interesting the twists and turns we experience in our lives and just how much these shape us. I must admit that this diverse background of mine has enabled me see the world through objective eyes, no matter where I find myself. The positives and negatives, pros and cons of the different cultures I have been blessed to be privy to is what has birthed out this book; “Living in the Palace”.
I have come to the realization, through my travels, exposure and interaction with people of all walks of life, one thing rings true, North, South, East and West of the globe we are usually battling the same issues deep down. Regardless of where you come from, your success in life is determined by your development in character, integrity and discipline.
Personal development is an area of our lives that is usually left to fate. We are all born leaders because we are first to lead ourselves. However there is no way we can lead ourselves effectively without first knowing who we are pitfalls, shortcomings et al.
Once I have truthfully met me and dealt with me, confronting latent issues that are waiting to rear their ugly heads at the slightest provocation, I begin to improve my character. Thereafter I can then ask myself and understand why I do what I do when there are no spectators and vice-versa. Basically put, why do I do what I do? In the process of dealing with this I then get rid of the chaos in my life and bring in some order. As my Senior Pastor would say, when you bring God order He brings you overflow”!
As you read this book it is my desire that you will be developed and expanded to attain the heights that have been preordained for you. For it is only through your own personal development that you will be able to rise above your apparent limitations, soar like the eagle and glide like one too.
In Him,
Shirandi Shamamba, B.A MM *MBA
